Representing District 16A is indeed a privilege and an honor. Time after time you tell me that you want government to stay out of our lives and live within its means; that you want me to hold the line on tax increases and make sure that all revenue is used for needs not pork projects or wants.

And, you believe in equal rights, not special rights for all people. 

You had asked me to work tirelessly to preserve the sanctity of life from conception to natural death.

 

Furthermore, you expect fair K-12 funding for our rural Minnesota schools and education policy that ensures high academic standards and 21st Century skills are key in teaching and learning. And, you want parental choice for where to send your children to school.

 

I have listened to you during my 11 years in the legislature and I will continue to do so as we plan for a Minnesota future that upholds our values.

 

I ask for your support for re-election on Nov. 4, 2008.
